Every now and then we need to provide our customers with files that fix a problem. For our software products we usually do that with our monthly service builds.
Most of our training products come on discs though, so there are no service builds. While we update the discs we ship almost continuously, some discs that you may already have can stop working if new software is installed on your computer.
If you experience problems with our training products that utilize Adobe Flash, you can navigate to http://downloads.sapien.com and look at the "Support Files" folder. The files
f10updater-1.0.811.2510.zip and flashfixinstructions.pdf
will provide you with everything you need to make the content work with newer flash players.
A recent problem that occurred in PrimalScript 2009 is also easily remedied by a file from this location. If your "Run Script" toolbar button or menu option is grayed out for VBScript or some other popular languages, your language settings may have become corrupted. While this problem has already been remedied in a service build a while ago, your registry settings may not have been updated, as PrimalScript’s installer generally does not overwrite pre-existing user settings.
