Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 and PowerShell V3

Some of you started sending us emails asking about support for the new versions of Windows as well as PowerShell version 3.

Of course all current SAPIEN software will support Windows 8 and Server 2012 whenever they are released. We are continuously testing on these new platforms to make sure our software works on these new platforms. As with all new operating systems, until Microsoft releases the real thing we have no idea what was changed last minute. Rest assured that will address any issues that might come up with service builds as fast as we possibly can.

As for PowerShell version 3, of course we will support that as well after it is released. Please understand that as a matter of policy we never support any beta or pre-release software. So just stay tuned. As PowerShell V3 is released we will update all our products to support the new version. These updates will be rolled out as service builds for all 2012 versions of SAPIEN products. So yes, that makes them free updates if you have a valid 2012 license. Any prior versions of PrimalScript or PrimalForms will not be updated to support PowerShell V3.
