I had the pleasure of speaking with the Orlando .NET User Group on May 11. It was a well attended event with over 20 attendees and a few sponsors.
The presentation I gave provided a comparison of the differences between Windows PowerShell and PowerShell Core. I also showcased the creation of hybrid scripts that can tackle both PowerShell technologies, and demonstrated how to use SAPIEN PowerShell Studio to execute PowerShell Core scripts and provide the results in a Windows application.
I wrapped up the session by showing the potential of Azure Cloud Shell by executing AzureRM scripts using both Windows PowerShell and PowerShell Core scripts.
It was a very exciting night—talking about upcoming technologies and scratching the surface with Python and SQL Server.
I truly appreciated the enthusiasm of the attendees and their ongoing support for this user group. There will be more sessions to come!
If anyone in the Orlando Florida area is interested in the Orlando .NET User Group, feel free to join their ONETUG Community.

Excellent Max. Ever think of putting the presentations on a video. Just record your meetings an post at Sapien.
Hi Jim,
I have post the ones I’ve been able to record when I’m presenting online. But, when presenting live, most user groups don’t have the ability to record the meeting.
Also, trying to record when presenting live interrupt the dynamic of the presentation, as I’m interacting with the attendees.
But, let me see what I can do for future live presentations.
🙂
