It’s done! Windows PowerShell v1.0: TFM, 2nd Edition (the newly-revised and even-larger version of our bestselling PowerShell book) is finished. The index is in, it’s uploaded to the printer, and we’re good to go.
Why should you care? Well, it depends on who you are:
- If you already bought the ebook, go back to my.sapien.com and download it again – you’ll get the index, now. Not that the PDF wasn’t already fully searchable… but it’s nice to have an index. Julie worked very hard on it.
- If you wanted to buy the print book, you’ll be able to very soon, both on ScriptingOutpost.com, Amazon.com, and all the other usual culprits. It’ll be orderable through the Ingram catalog from most booksellers – grab the ISBN off the book’s page at www.sapienpress.com/powershell2.asp.
- If you aren’t interested in the book, it’s time to crawl out from under that rock and get interested in PowerShell. It’s not a fad. It’s here to stay, and it really will make administration easier, once you invest some time in learning it. And boy, can I recommend a good book to help you learn it!
Sample chapters are on the book’s page (see link, above), along with a complete Table of Contents so that you can see what’s included. This book is also being bundled with some of the new SAPIEN Resource Kits – be sure to check those out, too, if you want tools+training+books for a lower overall price.
