Windows Server 2008: What’s New / What’s Changed Part #1 of 12: E-Book Now Available and an Intro to the Series

Hi all, Greg Shields here.  Don has asked me to guest blog here for a couple of weeks to talk about the new book I’ve just completed — Windows Server 2008: What’s New / What’s Changed

This book is now available in e-book form. With the delay to the release of Windows Server 2008, we’ve decided to push the official release of the book by a few months.

In the mean time, SAPIEN Press and I have decided to release this book in “pre-release” form. This is actually good news for you. If you buy a copy of the book now, you’ll get the un-edited version now. Any updates between now and the final release, you’ll get as well (in e-book form). When the final version releases towards the beginning of next year, you’ll then get a hard copy of the final version. SAPIEN calls this their IPO (Initial Public Offering) program, and I’m really excited to be the first book to take part in it.

To give you a preview of the book and its contents, this will be the first in a 12-part series where I’ll release short snippets from each of the book’s 11 chapters. I hope you’ll find these to be fun and interesting.

If you like what you see, take a look at this web site for more info about the book and a link to the purchase page:
