We know that keeping track of your product information – especially license keys – can sometimes be tough. Figuring out what version of your product is the latest and greatest can be hit-or-miss. Trying to figure out if you’re eligible for an upgrade, and how much it’ll cost, can also be tricky.
In the past, we’ve tried to make these answers as easy to find as possible. However, as SAPIEN begins to offer more and more products – eBooks, software, training products, and more – we realized that we had a lot of duplicated information presented in many different places, often in different formats.
So we’ve launched http://my.sapien.com, a brand-new, totally centralized place for all your SAPIEN “stuff.” Log in using your “SAPIENPASS” user name and password (the same one you’d use to log onto the SAPIEN Support Forums or ScriptingAnswers.com), and you’ll find a convenient list of all your registered SAPIEN products.
Each product comes with links for technical support, latest version downloads, and upgrade eligibility information – all in one place. If you’re entitled to a free product upgrade, you can get it with a single button click!
If your list is missing a product or two, that’s easy to fix. Just get the product’s license key (the “Help | About” menu item is a good place to retrieve it, but you can also consult your original purchase confirmation e-mail) and paste it into a “Product Registration” text box. Click a button and you’re registered – your new product shows up in the list immediately, along with links for support, downloads, and so forth.
