Jeffery Hicks’ new book, VBScript and WSH Core: TFM™, is off to the editors and is due out this August. And, while we’re busily researching options to make it available as an eBook, if you own PrimalScript 2007, you won’t have to wait! That’s because the text of this definitive new reference – covering every VBScript keyword and every scripting object – will be incorporated into PrimalScript as context-sensitive, online help. Just position your cursor over a keyword and press F1 to see detailed information about how to use that keyword. It’s better than an eBook because it’s built right into the PrimalScript environment!
We’ve updated the book page for this new book on the SAPIEN Press Web site, where you’ll find a brand-new sample chapter that we created right when the manuscript was finished (but before it went to the editors, so please excuse any typos you may find). In the coming weeks, we’ll be updating that page with pricing information as well as availability (and maybe even a pre-order special or two!). Also, we’re planning a podcast interview with the book’s author, where we’ll be giving away a copy or two to some lucky listeners – stay tuned to this blog for all the details on this exciting new release!
