PrimalScript 4.0 (and later) Professional and Enterprise include the Evolved Script Packager™, a tool that turns VBScript and JScript files into standalone executables (EXEs) for easier deployment. If you’re a KiXtart developer, however… that’s not much help. Fortunately, you can find “Kix2Exe,” a free packager for KiXtart scripts, at http://kix2exe.ramonitor.nl/index.php. This tool can be integrated into PrimalScript (directions are at http://kix2exe.ramonitor.nl/usescriptsettings.php), providing a similar integrated experience as when using our own Evolved Script Packager. Don, which PrimalScript software package would be most suitable for creating PowerShell scripts. The reason I ask is because ever since your PowerShell presentation in Orlando at the Techmentor conference, I have been hooked on "PowerShell". I want to purchase one or the other (Professional/Enterprise). Feel free to e-mail the comment back to me.
Well, mainly Professional – but you can find a comparison chart at http://www.primalscript.com. Enterprise adds remote script execution (for VBS, right now), a visual query builder, and a visual XML builder.
