New Essentials on ScriptingAnswers.com – Now Including Windows PowerShell!

We’ve updated the “Essentials” page on ScriptingAnswers.com (http://www.scriptinganswers.com/essentials.asp) to include Essentials for both VBScript and Windows PowerShell.

“Essentials” are short scripts that demonstrate how to do particular things in a script, such as enumerating through objects, bringing up a debug window, using alternate credentials, and so forth. These tasks are commonly asked about in the ScriptingAnswers.com forums, so the Essentials page is a sort of “FAQ” for accomplishing these common tasks.

The VBScript Essentials have picked up one new item, while we’ve started the Windows PowerShell page with three – we’ll be adding more as time goes on and we figure out what the “frequently asked” tasks are!

If you need help with an Essential, just post in the appropriate forum on ScriptingAnswers.com. Enjoy!

[Edit: Sorry for the mixup in the download URLs – they’re fixed, now.]
