Hello,
I downloaded the demo of Powershell Studio 2025 and I inadvertantley overwrote my registered version of Powerhell Studio 2019.
Previous versions allowed me to test side-by-side with my installed versions.
I want to know that I can safely test the new version without damaging my 2019 configuration if I wish to restore it.

PowerShell Studio's official installer does not allow for side-by-side installations. This has been the case for many years.
Testing projects and psf files made with your 2019 build will cause those files to update to the latest format. This can potentially cause issues when going back to the 2019 build. Backup files are created when these files are updated. The backup file will look like the following:
