Preview GUI button won't work unless the app is run as admin.

Post by christopher.french »

If I try to preview gui or run a script that has a gui in it, I get a UAC prompt to elevate and when the admin user\pwd are entered, the screen flashes instead of opening the window. The only workaround I've found is running an elevated instance of PowerShell Studio, but I don't like doing this.

This fails now where it worked with old scripts. It fails just the same with a script that only has a blank form.

What happened?
Is this an intended feature? If so, is there a planned fix?

It sounds like there are permission issues with the files you are running. Please verify that you have permission for the files you are running from the account you are using on your machine.
