Hi,

I recently update my powershell studio version to 5.8.198 and I frequently have a prompt asking for rebuild the cache editor (on both operating system) :

My CacheBuilder32.inf and CacheBuilder34.inf files both seem like this on Windows10 :
CacheBuilder32.inf
[CacheBuilder]
Status=Finished
Rebuild=

On Windows 2022 :
CacheBuilder32.inf
[CacheBuilder]
Status=Finished
PowerShell interface could not be instantiated

CacheBuilder64.inf
[CacheBuilder]
Status=Failed
LastError=Error: Cannot Load PowerShellCore host
LastPlatform=x64
PowerShell interface could not be instantiated

Is there a way to disable this prompt ?

Best regards

Please try renaming the CacheCheck.exe in the application folder to prevent the prompting for now.

Yes it will. It will then be re-enabled with the next service build.

Hello,

Thanks so much for your answer.

Just one more question before closing this case :
Do you know when the next service build will be available ?
I suppose it will be soon 'cause I saw lots of similary posts.

The fix for this bug was released with service build 5.8.199. Please let me know if this is still an issue for you.
