PrimalSQL 2017 Unable to connect to database with FIPS enabled

Post by joshua.staley »

Product, version and build: PrimalSQL 2017 v4.3.58
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64-bit
Operating system: Windows 10 Enterprise
32 or 64 bit OS: 64-bit

When connecting to an instance of a database that has FIPS enabled we can successfully "Test Connection" but when we save and try to connect to the database we get the following error message:

"This implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms."

All of our databases use FIPS compliant settings so this is a hard requirement for us.
