Silent Execution in Compiled Executables Using SAPIEN PowerShell Studio

Post by umaiskhan »

Hi,

I am currently evaluating PowerShell Studio as a potential solution for compiling .ps1 scripts into executables for internal use within our company. One of our critical requirements is to ensure that the compiled executables run silently, without displaying any pop-ups or user notifications.

I’ve set the build configuration to:

Script Engine: Windows PowerShell
Host: SAPIEN PowerShell v5 Host (Silent)
Despite this, when running the compiled executable, I am still encountering a pop-up indicating that the trial version is being used.

Could someone please confirm whether this behaviour will be completely eliminated in the licensed version when using the above configuration? Ensuring completely silent execution is crucial for our use case.

Thank you for your assistance! I appreciate any insights or clarification you can provide.

Best regards,
Umais

Yes, the trial pop-up will be removed once the packaged script is rebuilt with a licensed version of PowerShell Studio.
