.Net 7 is EOL

Post by harringg »

Any plans to make PSModuleManager work without requiring .NET 7.0. From Sapien's own product page, it links to https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/7.0

Our security team won't allow .NET Desktop 7, so PSModuleManager won't run.

7.0.20 Security patch Tooltip: This release contains fixes for security issues.
Release notes Latest release date May 28, 2024

This release has reached end of life, meaning it is no longer supported. We recommend moving to a supported release, such as .NET 8.0. See our support policy for more details.

Product, version and build:
Operating system: WIN 11, 23H2
PowerShell version(s): 5.1/7.x
PSModuleManager: 2.0.28
