POWERSHELL Studio 2022 prompting for ID and Password each time I click on the RUN icon (green triangle)

Post by ChrisDiaz »

“Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?” prompt each type I click on the RUN or DEBUG button of the IDE. It behaves just fine with another install in my laptop but works different when installed in my HVD (virtually hosted device).

Product: PowerShell Studio 2022 (64 Bit)
Build: v5.8.209
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise (64 Bit)
Build: v10.0.19044.0

Turn off elevation. It's the shield icon in the platform panel in the ribbon.

I should probably point out that contrary to the title of this topic, it is not PowerShell Studio prompting for anything. It is a standard Windows elevation prompt.
It protects you from inadvertently running applications and scripts with full admin access.
