i've been using PS Studio for years now and since this latest update, now whenever I hit ctrl-F5 to run a script, there is a delay for about 20 seconds where nothing happens. i just wait and then my GUI is opening.

this has never happened before.

i've rebuilt the local cache, same issue. please suggest a way to get rid of this annoying delay.

thank you!

I can't produce that here. 20 seconds suspiciously sounds like a network time-out. Does your script do anything on the network before it shows the form?

Maybe you can provide a little more information.
What kind of script is it?
If you run the script from the console, does it do the same thing?
If you package it as an exe, how is that behaving?
"Some are local on your computer" ? Are you dot sourcing anything that might not be there?
What if you use a simple "Hello World" script? Is that delayed too?

please disregard this request.

yesterday was that kind of day where nothing was going correctly, everyone was after me to fix issues, etc... let's say I was not behaving normally ;-)

I've rebuilt the cache and rebooted and now, all is back to normal.

sorry about this mess.

thanks!

Ok, glad to hear. We all have these day. But just to make sure, the cache has nothing to do with that :D
