MSI Build inserts comment on top and indents all code every build

Post by mycosiss »

Product: PowerShell Studio 2020 (64 Bit)
Build: v5.7.172
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise (64 Bit)
Build: v10.0.16299.0

Hi,

I have a minor annoyance where every time I build my code to a MSI file, the bilding process indents my whole code and inserts a new header even though it updates my existing one.
Any help disabling this would be much apreciated.

As a work around you can build MSI from Sapien Script Packager Tool.
From Deploy/Installer click Settings
Sapien Script Packager is open
Click Build MSI from Home/Project

Thanks! This works, but now I need another workaround :)
For me to be able to build i have to specify full path for the bin directory instead of relative to the project.
Guessing this is also a bug.

We are looking into the path issue you mentioned, but I don't have any updates on that.

As for the comments and indenting of code, this has been fixed and will be in the next service release of PowerShell Studio.

Sorry to jump in here. First time I hear about the bin folder being a problem.
Whats the error exactly you are getting?

Please try service build 5.7.173 and let me know if it resolves the comments and indenting of code.
