Can't reply to other topics here, but wanted to add that I had this identical issue. I gave up and did my debugging is ISE, where everything worked as expected. I'll follow the other post to see if a solution is forthcoming.

Identical as in? Please provide some details. Generally you need to specify at least what is requested when creating a new post.
The ISE is always a good thing to have around, there is nothing wrong with that. The issue referenced is likely stemming from a module with a threading issue or some host dependency that is not documented. It happens that modules are created which will ONLY operate in the original console or the ISE.
Without any additional details that is not easy to determine.
