Disable File Auto Refresh
I save my files to my OneDrive synced folder. Every single time I click the save button in PowerShell Studio 1-5 minutes later I am prompted to refresh the file for some reason. Sometimes I accidentally click Yes and lose a bunch of work that I haven't saved yet and wind up extremely frustrated. How can I disable this feature? I've scoured the Options page, but the setting isn't evident to me.
Re: Disable File Auto Refresh
This isn't a PowerShell Studio feature, and we believe it's OneDrive that's causing the issue.
Can you try placing the files in another folder and see if the refresh persists?

Re: Disable File Auto Refresh
I apologize, I misunderstood and the auto-refresh is indeed a feature in PowerShell Studio. However, this is because the file is being modified elsewhere and when this is detected, you receive the notification asking if you want to use the newly found changes, which is why we believe OneDrive is modifying the file in the background.
Also, I've moved this thread to the PowerShell Studio forum since you do have a license and this is a product related question. For future reference, if you have any more issues with PowerShell Studio or any of our other products, please be sure to post it in the product support forums.

Re: Disable File Auto Refresh
I know OneDrive is what is causing the file to appear to have been modified. I'm not going to save my files elsewhere because it would require re architecting tons of processes and procedures I have developed over years.
How do I turn the auto-refresh feature off in PowerShell Studio?

Re: Disable File Auto Refresh
Unfortunately, there currently isn't a way to disable this.
Can you provide some information regarding your platform? Which OS are you using/bitness? Also, do you happen to have the offline mode enabled in OneDrive?

Re: Disable File Auto Refresh
I am running Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit using OneDrive for Business in synchronized mode.
Re: Disable File Auto Refresh
So far I've had no luck reproducing this on our end, however, I'm testing with a regular OneDrive account as I do not have a OneDrive Business license to test with at the moment.
That being said, we are looking into this and as soon as we have some more information we'll be sure to post it here.

Re: Disable File Auto Refresh
Would you please try testing this with files saved outside of your OneDrive folder and verify the issue persists? This is to verify that the issue is indeed OneDrive and not an issue buried within PowerShell Studio or your system.
