Cannot instantiate PowerShell object error

Post by ejpaisley »

Product, version and build: PowersShell Studio 2015, 4.2.99
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64-bit
Operating system: Windows 10
32 or 64 bit OS: 64-bit

Since the update to 4.2.99, every time i run something, I receive a Cannot instantiate PowerShell object>> Script Ended message

I have tried the RegisterControls fix mentioned in the "last update broke my PS" thread, but this did not resolve the issue.

I have tried to uninstall/reinstall, but I receive an 'Invalid H:/' message and i am unable to complete the uninstall.

Can you provide more information on the error you receive when attempting to uninstall/reinstall? I believe that reinstalling the software will fix this.

Yes, a reinstall resolved the issue.

I was able to get around the 'Invalid Drive' error by removing folder redirection for 'My Documents'. This allowed me to re-install the software.
