I managed to find a fix for this and it is related to the Flash Player.

I disabled Flash in Internet Explorer and Edge but it would still crash. I found this article on How-To-Geek (http://www.howtogeek.com/115833/how-to- ... windows-8/) that while it was for Windows 8 worked for Windows 10 as well.

In short, you disable Flash in the Group Policy Editor. The change you need to make is in User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer\Security Features\Add-on Managements. Right click "Turn off Adobe Flash in IE..." and select Edit. Enable the filter and hit apply.

Lastly, you need to force the updated policy to take effect by running gpupdate /force.

Just an update but our web developers have solved the issue so that Flash no longer has to be disabled.
