Strange issue

Post by waynecierkowski »

I'm trying to run a new program on one of my backup servers. I have been getting the following error when I execute the compiled program:

Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or ass
embly 'System.Management.Automation, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKey
Token=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the f
ile specified.
at #m.#Xc.#Sc(String[] #Tc)
at #m.#Xc.#Wc(String[] #Tc)

I even went as far as creating a simple program that all it does is issue a exit command and this one too fails with the same error. All of my other backup servers don't do this.

The server is Windows 2008 R2 Standard with all the latest patches applied.

Any ideas on how to correct this??

TIA...

Problem resolved. I did not have Windows Management Framework 3.0 installed on the server.. All works as it should now...
