V2 - 64 Bit option missing

Post by espiman »

Hi.

- PowerShell Studio 2015 4.2.89
- 64 bit version
- Windows 7 64 bit.

A few days ago, the V2-64 Bit option does not appear in popup menu. I post a screenshot.

Post by SAPIEN Support Forums »

This is an automated post. A real person will respond soon.

Thank you for posting, espiman.

Did you remember to include the following?
  • 1. Product, version and build (e.g. Product: PowerShell Studio 2014, Version & Build: 4.1.71. Version and build information can be found in the product's About box accessed by clicking the blue icon with the 'i' in the upper right hand corner of the ribbon.)
    2. Specify if you are running a 32 or 64 bit version
    3. Specify your operating system and if it is 32 or 64 bit.
    4. Attach a screenshot if your issue can be seen on the screen
    5. Attach a zip file if you have multiple files (crash reports, log entries, etc.) related to your issue.
If not, please take a moment to edit your original post or reply to this one.

Try rebuilding the cache and see if it resolves the issue:

Chances are that a module is causing the cache process to end prematurely.

Please zip and attach the contents of the following folder to this topic:

C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\Roaming\SAPIEN\CachedData 2015\Local Machine\

And please check the event logs for any entries for CacheBuilderV2.exe or CacheBuilder64V2.exe.

Thank you

You can find the Windows Event logs:

Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Event Viewer->Windows Logs->Application

Close PowerShell Studio and run the following executable:

C:\Program Files\SAPIEN Technologies, Inc\PowerShell Studio 2015\CacheBuilder64V2.exe

Check if the application closes prematurely or if a new event log is created. Once the executable is finished you should see the following files in the Local Machine folder:

PowerShell64V2.Alias.Cache
PowerShell64V2.Cmdlet.Cache
PowerShell64V2.Modules.Cache
PowerShell64V2.Snapins.Cache
PowerShell64V2.Syntax.Cache

If this fails, post the contents of the CacheBuilder64.inf file.
