PowerShell Studio Request - Autobuild to file/clipboard

Post by pringtef »

Provide an option that automatically creates a build file upon one of the save options (Save all?). On the first build file creation, user is prompted for the location and filename to be created. When this is confirmed via OK, then also provide a dialog which prompts if the user wants that build file to be used as the default build file name for this project.

Justification : For source control I want to also to be able to have this file included, but it is very easy to forget to also save a build file before you do a commit.

Also, if that file is used as part of a CI build operation via a package such as AppVeyor or GitLab CI, it can mean you've created a new build which you then realise doesnt contain the PS Studio build file, and you have to go back, create the ps studio build file, commit it, and then run the CI build process again.

Hope that makes sense, it's a bit difficult to word!
