Add Ignore to source control Git section

Post by Lembasts »

Greetings,
As the subject says, it would be nice to add an 'Ignore' button to the Git Source control section which would simply append the filename to the .gitignore file.
Cheers

This is a where to add a gitignore file if you are working with a project, but that seems to be the only way and it is not very obvious. I'm also aware that this is not exactly what you were looking for, but I thought I should at least mention it. I've filed a report for the development team to look into changing this.

For now, this is how you add the file from the Projects Panel:

Thanks. I have a git ignore file. I was wanting to add stuff to that file. Like ignoring all temppoints and psbuilds and individual files etc.
