Good evening
I miss very much two simple features from other IDEs:
Ctrl-D to duplicate Code:
If nothing is selected,
1. the Cursor stays where it is
2. the current line will be copied and pasted below the current line
If some text is selected,
1. the Cursor stays where it is
2. the selction will be copied and pasted after the current selection
Highlight text without having to double-click it
We can double-click text and every other occurrence is highlighted.
It would be great if we could initialize Highlight by:
a) selecting the text using the Keyboard
b) a hotkey, which would highlight the string under the cursor
Thanks a lot in advance,
kind regards,
Thomas

Thank you for the suggestion, I've filed an internal feature request and when we have some more information, we'll post it here.

Re: Feature Requests: Duplicate Code / Highlight Selection
In regards to your Highlight Selection request, Ctrl + W will select the current word your cursor is on.

Great!, thank you for this Tipp!DevinL wrote:Ctrl + W will select the current word your cursor is on.
It would be helpful if you could add to Keyboard Shortcuts.pdf for Ctrl+W something like "Select and highlight the current word".
Otherwise, most Users will search for highlight but cannot find this helpful shortcut.
Kind regards,
Thomas

Currently, we have this in the Keyboard Shortcuts.pdf as "Select Word".AkrosIT wrote:Great!, thank you for this Tipp!DevinL wrote:Ctrl + W will select the current word your cursor is on.

I'll mention this post with the team though and see if we can't come up with a better way of surfacing this information.
