Save vbs as color coded html?

Post by norsbj »

Hi!Is there an easy way to copy & paste color coded vbs scripts from PrimalScript to an email? What I want to do is to send the text of scripts in email but with colored text so it's easier to read than just black text. One way to do this i guess would be to save the color coded vbs text as a html file with embedded color tags but I could not find any such option in PrimalScript? Thanks for any tips on how to do this...Regards,SB

PrimalScript doesn't have a feature that would make this possible but there is an included sample script that might help. Under the HTA samples folder in the Resource Browser is a script called htmlExport.wsf. You could use this file to generate a color html version of the script and then copy and paste that into your message.

Interestingly, PrimalScope 2008 just added an export-to-HTML (as well as export to RTF) - so it's possible a future release of PrimalScript will add it, too.
