This mayeb a crazy question and trust I am new to this but can you make Version Recall stamp the version in your the properties of the file and at the end of the file before the .ps1? I have a project and I want to have some versioning to the script and I don't want to keep up with the version.

I am not really sure what you mean. VersionRecall can insert version and comments in a source file, but it seems you want to change the name?
