PrimalForms 2009 Trial

Post by gclarkjer »

I'm planning on purchasing the PrimalScipt Studio which includes PrimalForms 2009. I've installed (and reinstalled) a couple of times, but PrimalForms 2009 doesn't not start on my computer, either using the shortcut on my desktop or double-clicking the executable. Can you help me resolve this? All the other applications start fine and are tracking my trial period. I'm using a Toshiba Tecra A9 laptop with Windows Vista 32-bit. All up-to-date. Gerald Clark 323-514-4903. Thanks!

We'll be happy to help. Which version of Powershell do you have installed on your machine?

PrimalForms 2009 Trial

Post by davidc »

Hello Gerald,

We just ran a test on a Vista 32-bit machine and PrimalForms 2009 ran without issue.

1. Can you tell us what version of PrimalForms 2009 do you have installed? You can access the information via Add / Remove Programs or by accessing the properties of the executable.

2. Can you verify if the process shows up in the Task Manager?

Also make sure you have the latest service packs for .NET 2.0 installed.

Thank you,

David

Version of PrimalForms 2009 is 1.1.30 (11/24/09). The application shows up in Task Manager for about 1 second, then disappears. I have .NET 3.5 installed and Powershell V2 (CTP 3). Machine is up-to-date with all Service packs, etc. Thanks,Jerry

David - Sorry about the delay. I've been in meetings. For some reason the zip file was filtered from the email you sent me. Can you try another email account? The one I gave you may have a problem with some zip files, depending on size or compression. Try jerclark.jc@gmail.com. Thanks! -Jerry
