Advanced Function parameter syntax issue

Post by boxikg » Thu Oct 26, 2017 6:49 am

Hi, I wrote advanced function with mandatory parameter but when I hover mouse over function's name that parameter is displayed as optional (between square brackets). How to solve this since it can be very misleading?

Similar bug applies to any core cmdlet (in example below for parameter Path of Add-Content cmdlet):

Path parameter is required and positional so info above is wrong too. It should have been displayed true for required and 0 for position.

However information about cmdlet itself is correct - Path parameter is required and positional (name of parameter can be omitted).
