Trail Run

Post by NotMyEmail »

Product, version and build:
64 bit version of product
Operating system:
64 bit OS

Greetings,

I am trying to get my boss on board for purchasing a license, but she has a few questions.
When using the trial version I created an application, however I was the only one on my team that could utilize it.

-If we buy a license and I create an application will all of my team be able to utilize the application?

-Or do all team members need a license?

-How does my team install the application I create? Or is it just drag and drop?

Yes, you are free to distribute any content you create (exe or script) with a license copy of PowerShell Studio and the end users do not require a license.

However, the PowerShell Studio application itself requires a per user license. For example, the psf Form files require a license copy of PowerShell Studio to edit, but you can export it into a ps1 script or package it into an executable and distribute the resulting file without requiring a license for the end user.

As for distributing the created content, that is up to you. You can create a MSI installer (using PowerShell Studio) or simply copy the file to the target machine.
