Back option

Post by wokmer »

Product, version and build: 5.2.124

In RAD Studio there is a "back" option with hotkey alt-left. This is a very useful feature, eg when you follow a declaration and then want to jump back where you came from.
Any chance to get this in a future release ?

Thanks...

While it's not referred to as the "back" button, we do have a Last Edit (Ctrl + E) function that might be what you're looking for. It's on the ribbon alongside a few other navigation features such as Previous Function.

It's better than nothing and I can see this being useful but a "back to last cursor position" with a history so you can jump back x positions would be even better...

If you could post that in our Wishlist and Feature Requests forum then we'll add it to our list and see what we can do to make that happen :)
