Can we get the forum updated to allow direst upload of PSF and other PowerShell Studio project and form files?
We can upload PFF and PS1 files but none of the newer extensions have been permitted.
Thank you.

Re: A minor annoyance PSF files
Hello James,
We have the forum set to accept PSF files, however, it turns out that Adobe uses the .PSF extension for its Photoshop Proof Settings File. The Forum 'mime sniffs' to ensure that files are indeed what their extensions imply they are and if they are not, reports the following error: "The upload was rejected because the uploaded file was identified as a possible attack vector." For security reasons we are loathe to turn off the mime-sniffing function. I know it is annoying, but you can always ZIP your file first before attaching.
These are the scripting extensions we currently allow to be uploaded in the forums: pff, pfs, ps1, psf, pss, vbs. (Obviously, with the mime-sniffing, the PSF files won't upload.) Are there others you feel should be added?
Thank you,
June

Hello again,
We did a few tests and found if you remove the <preview> tags from the PSF, it uploads just fine. Not sure that is any less of a hassle than zipping the file.......

Re: A minor annoyance PSF files
It took a bit, but I tracked down the code for the mime type settings and believe I have removed the item that was misinterpreting the <preview> tag as evil. You should no longer have to zip (or edit) psf files to post them.

Re: A minor annoyance PSF files
I have a great idea but it may be a little to 21st century for the web servers.
Use a web service to upload directly from PowerShell Studio to the forums or customer service.
Along with that - how about a forum reader as an add-in for PowerShell Studio.
Too much? Might be a good marketing kicker.

Testing...
It works, Great - thanks. I am sure many will be happy that this is now easier.
I still like the PS direct idea.
