We are using PrimalScript studio 2009. Is it compatible with Windows 7?

It should run fine. Depending on what you are using it for, it may suffice.

But consider that 2009 is two versions behind and no longer subject to service releases. It also does not support PowerShell V3 or 64 bit platforms.
