Well, it works from all systems ranging from windows xp to Windows 8 with Chrome, IE 8, 9 and 10 as well as Safari from my end.I'll leave it switched on a for a few more hours to see if anyone else reports something similar and then I'l switch it off until we finish investigating this.

No XP or WS2003 system will work correctly. I have tried four browsers (IE8/9) on three ISP networks. All hang or have extemely slow and erratic performance.
If I set compatiblity mode then the keyboard is very slow. If I don't set compatiblity then I have to wait for the script to timeout before I can edit.

This older plain editor works with no issues. The web site does not hang when it is being used.
There must be some piece of JavaScript running in the new editor that just loops forever and stops when IE warns of the loop. After that the editor doesn't work. It does the same thing on WS2003 with IE8. Setting compatibility mode with ether prevents the script from hanging but forces the editor to use the old "keychar" method which is very slow.
I have noticed that a lot of sites that uses similar WYSIWIG editors do the same thing but there are a great many that work perfectly. I have a feeling that the server of script are not detecting the browser version correctly.
I was just about to use the developer toolbar to emulate other browser to see what would happen when you removed the wysiwig editor.
Well -hopefully you will find the issues without too much pain.

There is also another intersting bug.
If any copy of IE that has been used to log into Sapien is running and anew copy of IE is startedthen it will also obtain a logged in session. When all copies of IE have been terminiated then the login will no longer be valid.
Try turning on cookieless logins if you are using IIS7.
I also noticed that teh DOCTYPE is not being set for th3 page. This will giveyou some very unusual behaviors on older browsers. Pre-IE9/10.
Your DOCTYPE is this:
It look like a placeholder that is to be updated based on the web servers detection of the browser. If the browser apabilities file is not set up correctly this is likely what you will get. Browser detection would force the DOCTYPE to be selected by the server. DOCTYPE effects page layout and CSS as well as compatibilty of objects like DIV and other positioning components.
