unable to determine license status

Post by knelso2@u.washington.edu » Fri Apr 24, 2009 7:17 am

I get the message "unable to determine license status" and PrimalScript shuts down when I try to access the app. We've just moved it onto this PC. Since the app won't stay up I can't check to see what key it was installed with.
What needs to happen to get this app working??

Thanks

Karen

What OS and what version (full build number) of PrimalScript are you running?

Version is 4.1 standard. Since I can't get into the product, I don't have a way of getting the build number.

WIndows XP service pack 3 is the operating system. The desktop support people installed the product, and I'm not sure what they did. I can reinstall it if I need to

Unable to determine license status means you have insufficient rights to write to certain locations in the registry. Either run PrimalScript once as adminstrator to unlock it with your license key or send your license key to support@sapien.com for a permanent license file.
