Unhandled exception when starting module manager

Post by PsCustomObject »

Hello,

I am using Module Manager 1.1.2.0 and, as per subject, since the last update when I try to launch it I'm greeted by an unhandled exception error message that I have attached to the thread.

Once I dismiss it software runs and even let me check for updated modules despite it seems to take a long long time to do anything.

If I close and restart the application it starts without error messages and seems to run fine.

I have saved the error log file if that can be of any help for the troubleshooting.

Keep in mind this seems to be random so to speak but happens rather frequently.

Thanks in advance!

Many Thanks Brittney,

I just uploaded the file, for what I can see this seems to be related to ActiveRoles module which is installed on my machine and for which there is no counterpart in the Technet gallery as this is a binary module installed with a proprietary product.

Thanks!

I apologize for not responding sooner. We have received your log file and one of our developers is looking into the problem. It should be fixed in the next service release.

Please try build 1.1.3.
To my knowledge, there were some problems replicating this specific behavior, but changes were made on how data is handled from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 in order to fix another issue and hopefully resolve this issue. Please let us know if this error is still occurring.
