Upgrade 167 to 169 Offline Activation

Upgrade 167 to 169 Offline Activation

Operating system: Win10
32 or 64 bit OS: 64

I upgraded my offline activated 5.6.167 version to 5.6.169 and it seems to be trying to connect to the activation server. I have no option to enter an offline license as it just loops through errors with only option to CANCEL which closes the program.

Please download this tool:
https://sapien.s3.amazonaws.com/downloa ... ivator.exe

And use it to deactivate PowerShell Studio.
Then re-apply the license file. Please let us know if it worked or not.

That was successful.

Will this be the process going forward, or was something changed/missed in this release ?

No, that is not supposed to be the process. We are investigating what causes that kind of a dead lock and will see what we can do.
