Post by doughertyp »

To help you better we need some information from you.

*** Please fill in the fields below. If you leave fields empty or specify 'latest' rather than the actual version your answer will be delayed as we will be forced to ask you for this information. ***

Product, version and build:
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64 bit
Operating system:
32 or 64 bit OS: 64 bit

*** Please add details and screenshots as needed below. ***

When installing Powershell studio via SCCM we receive errors that prerequisites are not installed correctly. You can click yes to continue the installation and it will only install powershell studio without any of the prerequisites.

If I install powershell studio as a user with admin rights (not using SCCM) it will install all of the prerequisites and powershell studio.

I found a forum from October 31st 2017 with the same issue and it was being investigated- viewtopic.php?t=12030

Since it has been almost 8 months, I wanted to see if anyone has a resolution.

Basically it is a Windows Installer bug. One that is not very likely to be fixed by Microsoft.
You will need to obtain the prerequisites and install them separately beforehand via SCCM.
Please email support@sapien.com and we can provide you with the download links.
Please include your SAPIEN ID and license number in the email.
