PowerShell Studio 2017 Update Issue

Post by markfitz610 »

Product, version and build: Powershell Studio 2017 ver 5.4.136
(*** Please do not write "latest" as a version, specify a version number ***)
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64 bit
Operating system: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
32 or 64 bit OS: 64 bit
PowerShell Version: 5.0.10586.672

Upon starting Powershell Studio 2017, I was presented with a popup message to update to version 5.4.136, I canceled the update box. Once the UI loaded, the normal layout was completely hosed up and not usable. I have included screen shots. If I try to do anything in the product, I get an Unhandled exception occurred popup box.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times to no avail.

If you delete the LayoutState.xml file located in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\SAPIEN\PowerShell Studio 2017 this should fix the situation for you.

If this doesn't do it, then please let us know so we can look into this further.
