WMI Explorer Window

Post by rasdella »

Product, version and build: 2.2.74
32 or 64 bit version of product:64
Operating system:Windows 7
32 or 64 bit OS:64

After a recent update my WMI Explorer Window is showing as below attachment - I have lost the tree structure which showed the different level in the hierachy. Uninstall + re-install made no difference?

Try File -> Clear Cache. It should rebuild the cache. Please let us know if that works.

Look in this folder: C:\ProgramData\SAPIEN\WMI Explorer 2017\Cache
What folders do you see there?

Hi I have a set of folders that represent my host that I run the software from plus several additional folders that look like machines I may have connected to via WMI Explorer

localhost
computer1
computer2
etc
etc.

Was all perfect until one of the recent product updates - I run the full Primal Script 2017 suite

There should be a folder with your machine name. Is there?
If so, what's in it?
Try renaming that folder: C:\ProgramData\SAPIEN\WMI Explorer 2017\Cache to C:\ProgramData\SAPIEN\WMI Explorer 2017\Cache-Old
and then start it.
