Managing Active Directory with Windows PowerShell: TFM, 2nd

Post by adealey »

I noticed that Jeff's book is four years old now and no longer available in your online store.

Two questions:
1. Is there a new edition in the works?
2. If not, is it still current enough to be useful?

We have no new edition in the works. Fundamentally, the book is still useful but that usefulness has surely been impacted by additions and changes to both Active Directory and PowerShell. You would undoubtedly need to combine it with something more recent should you decide to purchase it.

Hi Adealey,

I spoke with Jeff Hicks about your question. He says most of the content is still correct and also suggested you check out the free video offerings from the Microsoft Virtual Academy.
