I'm pulling info from a sql table column name that is named 'start time'
This works in the shell however powershell studio keeps formatting it into the alias for start-process. Is there a way to avoid this?
$col16 = (GET-patchCollection -Computername $cellhost).{start time}

$col16 = (GET-patchCollection -Computername $cellhost).'start time'

If you type this line into the ISE you will also notice that "start" is colored as a command. This is just one of those weird quirks of the language.

Why in the world did I miss that? I must break the habit to enclose spaces in brackets.jvierra wrote:dan.potter wrote:I'm pulling info from a sql table column name that is named 'start time'
