What mapped my Network Drives?

Post by hendrmi » Mon Jun 11, 2007 7:53 am

I'm looking for a way to determine what script or GPO or group membership initiated the mapped drives that appear when I login. I have tried deleting them, but they always come back. Sorry if I sound retarded - I can't even think of the right question to ask. Thanks, -h

After you delete the mappings and login again check the Event Log. If GPO is doing the mapping you will see it happen when USERINIT runs. You can look in the GPO log to see which GPO is doing this.

YOu can also run results of policy wizard against your account and see what GPOs are running and any scripts they contain.
