Dear All,

I'm trying to connect to Oracle Database but always is loading and not connecting properly.

I created a new connection with the following Information "Oracle > ServerName > Login or Schema > Password".

The database is added on the left connections panel, then I click on the database to see the objects inside and always is loading and not connecting properly. Do you have any idea if could I have some missing configuration?

Thanks in advance,

Are you able to query using the SQL Text document instead of the Visual Query Builder? For large databases it can take several minutes for the query builder to create the cache.

No, I'm not able to do nothing.

I select the database and always is status loading, when I select to do a query the database is in loading without showing the components.

I tried to run a simple query selecting the database but also the database is loading status.

The cache will take some time depending on the connection speed or if the database is very large. But if you use a "SQL Text" document you should be able to query the database while the Database browser is constructing the cache.

If you open a "Visual Query Builder" document then you will have to wait until the cache is complete.

Please try the latest service build of PrimalSQL (v3.0.5)and let us know if it makes a difference.

Also in Options->Panes->Database Browser Try unchecking the "Load Fields" option. It should help speed up time it takes the cache to complete.
