SQL Server stored procedures are not available

Post by rgruber3@msn.com »

Hello
With my sql server connection, the tables are enumerated, and I can query, but stored procedures and views are not enumerated. Why?

PrimalSQL 2011 / Windows 7 64 bit / SQL Server 2008 (on another machine)

Thanks in advance

For clarification, do you mean views and stored procedures are not showing up in the Query Builder or in the database browser? David

Yes. In the tree view, with the database expanded, if you click on the "+" sign for the tables then it expands and shows the table. If you do the same for the stored procs or views, nothing is displayed. Thanks for you reply.

We are looking into this issue. What type of connection are you using to connect to the SQLServer? SQL, OLEDB, ODBC? Note that system views and system store procedures are not displayed. David

The Query Builder doesn't support stored procedures so it doesn't show in the metadata. We will look into displaying the procedures in the Database Browser dispite this. David
