text on a progressbar (tranparent label)

Postby spbvybordm » Tue Jul 24, 2012 6:03 pm

Good day.
I'm trying to find way to show progress not only by progressbar, but showing percentage.
tried to use

$progressbar.Text - does not work

tried to place label over the progressbar...
how to make it tranparent?
Thanks

The
progressbar doesn't support text overlay. I recommend putting a label above or
next to the progress bar and update it every time you change the progress bar.

The
only other way to do this would be to manually paint the percentage on the
control after changing the progressbar's value.

We are looking at creating a Control Set for this, so keep an eye out.

FYI, PowerShell Studio (v3.0.8 and above) now has a ProgressBarOverlay control that will display a text percentage over the progress bar.
