PrimalForms Questions.

Post by whorsfall » Fri Mar 09, 2012 12:58 am

Hi,
I have a some questions regarding Primal Forms:
1. Is there a manual and how do I access it?
2. Powershell Version?
Does Primalforms work only with Powershell 2 or canit function with Powershell 1. E.g. can I generate Powershell 1 code. Are there any other specific requirements?
3. Inserting my own code?
I can understand about doing event handlers for buttons etc. However, what I am unsure of is inserting my own custom funcionts.
So for example an event handler that calls a function that I right.
Where can I insert all my code so I can freely manipulate the UIand then have the system generate all the powershell code andleave my own code intact.
Any hints / ideas?
Thanks,
Ward.

1. Documentation:Do to various unfortunate circumstances the module has been
delayed, but you can still access the 2009 documentation. You can download PrimalForms 2009 Help Documentation from our Downloads section, under
support files. It covers most of what you need to know about the designer. The next source of information is our blog. The following is a

be able to run scripts in v1 (Not tested). 3. You
can place your code almost any location within the Script Editor. If you are
using a Project you can break out some function to separate files, but you can
only reference control directly from the Form file, unless you pass them as
parameters to the function. davidc2012-03-09 13:58:42
