Symantec Endpoint virus warning Primalforms exe

Post by allianceit »

We are running the latest Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.100.157 RU1, now whenever we compile a project in PrimalForms to an exe and run it the file gets quarantined as risk type Bloodhound.Sonar.9. Even a blank project gets quarantined, anyone else having this issue?

False positives are alway a possibility with pattern based anti-virus scanners. Submit an empty package to Symantec for evaluation. Since you are a customer and we are not we cannot do that for you. Symantec generally does not reply to software vendor requests.

There is a remote chance that the template engines stored on your hard drive are infected, so I would double check with Symantec and/or another scanner vendor.

We generally scan all builds before they go public on our servers.
